PartStack is provided by Dayton Thorpe under the Good Little Apps brand. This policy covers the iPhone and iPad app and these product and help pages.

Recordings and session information

Your audio and video recordings, imported files, session and part names, guide tracks, mix settings and undoable recordings are stored in PartStack’s local app container. The developer does not receive them automatically.

Files that you save or share are copied to the destination you choose through Apple’s system interfaces. Recipients, cloud storage providers and other selected apps handle those copies under their own policies. Your device and Apple Account backup settings may also affect whether app data is included in an operating-system backup. PartStack does not implement its own automatic cloud synchronization.

An editable .partstack backup contains original source and saved undo recordings, including material that may be muted or trimmed out of the finished mix. Exported backups are not encrypted by PartStack. Save them somewhere you trust and share them only with intended recipients.

Permissions you control

• Microphone: to record audio for the parts you choose to perform.
• Camera: to film parts in a Video session. Audio sessions do not request or use the camera.
• Photos: Apple’s picker supplies only videos you select for import. Saving a finished video requests permission to add it to Photos.
• Files: the system picker supplies media or backup files you select. Exported files go to the destination you choose.

You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Disabling one permission may prevent its associated feature from working, but does not create a developer account or upload any recording.

Purchases and diagnostics

Apple processes the App Store purchase and may provide the developer with sales information and crash or diagnostic reports under Apple’s settings and policies. PartStack does not contain an analytics SDK or separately transmit usage data. The developer does not receive your payment-card information from the app. There is no subscription or in-app purchase.

When you contact us

If you voluntarily email goodlittleapps.support@gmail.com, your email provider and ours process that message. The developer receives the address, message and any attachments you choose to send. This information may be used to investigate a defect, consider feedback or handle privacy and legal notices, and retained as needed for those purposes. Do not include recordings or sensitive information unnecessarily.

Contact is separate from the app’s on-device operation. No guaranteed individual reply or response time is offered.

This website

These pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising, forms or embedded third-party media. They are hosted through OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure, which may process ordinary web-request information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and protect the website. That hosting activity is separate from the PartStack app. External links and email services have their own privacy practices.

Your choices and deletion

• Use PartStack without creating an app account.
• Choose every recording, import, export and sharing destination.
• Change microphone, camera and Photos permissions in Settings.
• Delete sessions in the library to remove their local recordings. Removing the app deletes its local data.
• Keep an editable .partstack backup before deleting a session you may want again. Delete exported copies and device backups through the service or device where they are stored.
• Email the privacy contact about voluntary correspondence you previously sent, including a request to delete it, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

There is no developer-hosted session library or account to delete or recover.

Children and changes

PartStack does not provide accounts or knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. This policy may be updated if the app or its practices change. The effective date appears at the top of this page.
